I have nurtured this very special attraction for art and design since childhood. Painter and drawer in my youthful years, this passion let me to graduate in visual identity after my studies. I ended up oscillating between these different professions, using one and the other to build an identity, an almost similar process. I build a work just as I do as a designer.

I think I have developed a particular attraction for publishing, web design and typography because these techniques, which are both strict and modular, are related to the pictorial composition. I would say that the grids of complex editorial compositions are like the structures of a painting, of a work of art and I see in it, all the emerging complexity that can inspire me at the sight of a white canvas. The precision, the graphic progression and the assertion of chromatic or typographic codes are similar to those of pictorial creation, in every respect.
